Wensleydale Art Ltd the not-for-profit organisation behind The Picture House was able to get off the ground and secure the building lease thanks to several generous donations and loans. Although all the people who help to plan, manage, staff and develop the organisation give their time for free the overheads of running the project are substantial.

We are therefore grateful for donations of money, services and resources from paint and equipment to fundraising events that people can give to The Picture House to help keep it going and develop the offer.

We are offering a range of fundraising and sponsorship packages that you can contribute to:

Hire The Picture House for your private cinema party (to hire the cinema and buy in a film of your choice please contact for details on availability)
Donations for fundraising e.g. cinema posters, raffle prizes, auction items

Advertising sponsorship packages –
buy five tickets to give to staff or customers £20, ten £40, twenty-five £100
Printing 300 programmes – 2 free tickets & sponsor’s name on programmes
500 programmes - 3 free tickets & sponsor’s name on programmes
1000 programmes - 6 free tickets & sponsor’s name on programmes. Laminating/distribution costs for 3 months/6months/12 months (we need price quote)
Setting up and running cinema web site for 2 months £250 - 2 free tickets & sponsor’s name and business on cinema web site
4 months £500 – 6 free tickets & sponsor’s name and business on web site
12 months -£1500 – 12 free tickets & sponsor’s name and business on web site
Sponsor one film screening £65 (based on Jan film rentals) – 2 free tickets 
Two film screenings £130 – 4 free tickets
Four film screening £250 – 6 free tickets

House programme sponsorship £300 (front cover position, 5000 copies circulated in the Yorkshire Dales).
